To use, place sharpener on flat, dry surface and hold firmly in place; place heel of knife into sharpening slot; pull knife backwards from heel to tip with light downward pressure; repeat 8-10 times as needed; never push knife forward though slot
Always keep fingers away from sharpening slots during use
Wipe clean with a damp cloth and dry immediately; do not rinse with water
